This post is part of my Organize Pretty Series!
The only thing I hate more than ironing is wrinkles. Introducing homemade wrinkle releaser. You’ve seen it in the store, maybe even bought it a time or two. But let’s face it, it’s kinda spendy. And now, no need, you can make your own for super cheap! Thank me later!
What you need:
- Bottled Water
- Liquid Fabric Softener
- Isopropyl alcohol
- Spray Bottle
What you do:
Fill your spray bottle with bottled water, and leave room at the top for 2 tbs of fabric softener and 2 tbs of isopropyl alcohol. Now the ratios will actually depend on the amount of water you use. Shake and spray!
PS I once was told that the phrase “rule of thumb” originated from the rule that back in the day, a man wasn’t allowed to hit his wife with a stick thicker than his thumb. Not true, I looked it up.
See! This is one of my fave shirts. Chambray is so in, and so wrinkly.
Now it’s just the perfect amount of unwrinkled. I don’t want to look perfectly pressed. 🙂
There you have it. Go forth and unwrinkle. No iron necessary!
PS: I used an empty Method cleaning solution bottle. I love that the labels come off so cleanly. Reduce, reuse, recycle. And I added this cute chalkboard vinyl label and a bistro marker to make it real cute.
