Sometimes a big kitchen overhaul just isn't in the cards. But don't distress. There are little things you can do that make a big difference. Here are a handful of simple and easy things to do to improve your kitchen FAST!
Spray Paint your Bar Stools. Add a pop of color and make things seem brand new by spray painting your barstools. Go bold or neutral, it doesn't matter. Either way a fresh coat of paint will freshen things up! Make sure you take the time to clean and sand and then clean them again. A can of primer goes a long way. Do it right and you won't have to do it again for a while.
If you are feeling extra adventurous, try something like these gold dipped stools! I think these would be amazing all white with gold-dipped legs!
Update your hardware. Simply add some pretty knobs and pulls for an instant facelift. If you have cupboards and don't have hardware, all you need is a power drill and a little determination. Get help and measure well. You don't want crooked knobs. :) I really love these crystal cupboard pulls. So fancy!
Upgrade your switch plates. Stainless steel switch plates can be found for just a few bucks a piece. They are a seriously simple way to make you kitchen look better! Here are some stainless steel switch plates.
Add a fun rug. An inexpensive rug can do wonders for your kitchen. And if you don't spend too much you can switch it out every once in a while. Some of my favorite kitchen rug options are: blue and white chevron rug, sea grass rug, or add some color with a fun striped rug like this!
Just add pretty soaps and dish towels. Adding a pretty dish cloth or two (like this one or maybe these) can really make a difference. It's a great and inexpensive way to add color and pattern. Just make sure your husband doesn't use them to wipe the counters.
A pretty (and yummy smelling) bottle of soap just adds a little touch of luxury. Meyer Clean Day is some of my favorite. When it comes to kitchen soap, it's all about the packaging. Check out this adorable soap! This is a super simple solution to adding a little extra goodness to your kitchen.
