Today I want to share with you all a product that I think is really cool. I love a good charity effort as well as clean, crisp, yummy water!
If there were such a thing as a "water junkie" I would be one for sure. I have shared with you all before that I'm a group fitness and indoor cycling instructor. I workout a lot. And I drink water a lot. In fact, water is ALL I drink. So, I like to get creative with my water sometimes! Remember a couple months ago when I came home from the farmer's market with peaches and basil in the same bag? They smelled so amazing together that I created this Peach and Basil Salad.
Ever since that day, peach and basil has become one all my all-time favorite flavors. Let's face it, it's amazing. Know what else is amazing? My new Soma Water filter. Yep. It makes my water taste crisp and clean and it's pretty too! So pretty that I actually love keeping it out on my kitchen counter (that never happens).
Check out this video all about Soma's story. I found it pretty inspiring!
You guys know how I feel about pretty things. Give me pretty or give me death!
Maybe. But ask yourself... why have an ugly ol' water filter when you can have this beauty?
But seriously, I really like what these guys are up to! This product is eco-friendly. I mean, the water filter contains carbonized coconut shell. I don't know about you but I think that is pretty cool. It makes me feel all Gilligan's Island-like. ;)
Charity! Not only is Soma giving me clean water, but they are giving clean water to people in Ethiopia as well. I may have gotten a little teary when I watched this video about Soma's charity efforts.
I think one of the coolest features of my Soma is the way you fill it up. No need to take it apart. No! Just hold it under the tap and the water stream opens up a little door that allow the water to enter. Pretty and functional!
I also love that I don't have to remember to buy a new filter. It's a subscription service so they deliver a new one to my door every 60 days. Um, thanks. One less thing to remember. The cost of the carafe and initial filter is $49 and each filter (every 60 days) is just $12.99. Did I mention that you don't have to remember to reorder?
I am legitimately excited about finding this product and this company. I love seeing people doing amazing things that make a difference in the world! You can follow this innovative company on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest.
