How to Stencil a Wall Quick and Easy

Update: the paint color is Quiver Tan by Sherwin Williams (I love their Cashmere paint) and I found the stencil at OMG Stencils on ETSY.

This is serious!  You are about to witness my first ever video tutorial.  (Try to contain yourself.)  But first, I want to show you some photos of how it turned out.  I'm not going to show you the whole room just yet however.  (Don't be mad.)

Update: This is what the room looks like now! It was featured in a book, Room Recipes. For more info see my post: Home Office Reveal.

Don't forget to Pin this project!  You will thank me later.

First, here are some photos of the process.

I stenciled the entire room (which includes my stairway, ummm, 20 foot ceilings) in about 4 hours.
I just love how the light plays on it... how did I get that metallic effect?  I guess you will have to watch the video.

Here's a tiny peek at how it looks with my turquoise and coral color scheme.

Up close and personal

The best part about this method is that it doesn't have to be perfect!!!

Do you see the little sparkles?  Watch the video to find out how I did that.

I really love how its there, but not really there, behind my shelves.

And now for the video...

I hope you will try it!
